Grape Brandy finished in Weller Ex-Bourbon Casks

This blend from six single casks of Armagnac aged between 13 and 36 years has been traditionally aged in Gascony oak barrels. It is then finished in Kentucky bourbon barrels, therefore losing its official Armagnac appellation of origin. The labels for L'Encantada Tattoo bottlings each feature a tattoo artist known for their celebrated designs and artistry.

Tattoo Series #3 is blended from the following single casks:

Domaine Grand Môle 1990 # F60
Domaine Le Pin 2005 #12
Domaine Pouy 2008 # 164
Domaine Petit Clavary 2009 #91
Domaine Le Pin 2009 #19

Each cask was finished between three and five months in Kentucky Bourbon barrels, blended together, then aged further in the same barrels for one more month.

MORELLO CHERRY
Cultivated in the sunny regions of western Styria (Austria), our cherries are hand-picked only once they have ripened to perfection. By then these shiny red, slightly oval-shaped fruits have developed a juicy, bittersweet and aromatic flesh.

Each cherry is picked by hand only when it has achieved the optimal sweet-sour balance. This is why the process can take several weeks – a lot of work for our grower but essential to guarantee that only fully ripe fruits are turned into mash for fermentation.

Once distilled and left to mature, our Morello cherry fruit brandy is bursting with fresh, fruity flavors accompanied by a touch of cinnamon and bitter almond.

MIRABELLE PLUM
Considered the most precious plum of its kind, the Mirabelle de Nancy is treasured by connoisseurs and plum enthusiasts for its typical full-bodied flavor.

Our Mirabelle plums are grown and harvested under ideal climate conditions in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. When fully ripe they are up to three centimetres in size and golden-yellow with a reddish patch on the side facing the sun.

The fruits are picked with great care, chopped and placed into vats immediately after harvest. Once distilled and left to mature, the result is an exquisite fruit brandy with the full-bodied taste of Mirabelle plums.

Styles Across Regions

Cognac – Produced in the Cognac region of France using Ugni Blanc grapes and double-distilled in copper pot stills. Known for its silky texture, floral elegance, and layered fruit.
Armagnac – Often more rustic and robust than Cognac, Armagnac is typically distilled once and aged longer in Gascon oak, yielding earthy spice, dried fruit, and rancio complexity.
American Brandy – Often made from California wine grapes and aged in new or used oak barrels. These brandies can show ripe fruit, baking spice, and a soft finish—excellent for sipping or mixing.
Fruit Brandies (Eaux-de-Vie) – Clear, unaged spirits distilled from apples, pears, cherries, plums, or other fruits. Often dry and intensely aromatic, these are best served chilled in small pours.
