Indulge in the exquisite taste of Blanton's Gold Edition bourbon. Developed as a bourbon for fans of exceptional smoothness and a clean finish to their whiskey Blanton's Gold Edition is chill filtered, aged in a single white oak barrel and dried for 6 months to achieve its exceptional combination of citrus, oak, dark fudge and cream notes. Never blended with other bourbon during its aging process, and periodically sampled by the Master Distiller to confirm the finest barrels, which are left to mature far longer than the average bourbon, the result is this 'super premium' whiskey with the most individual expression.
Typically a 700ml bottling, however we sometimes have the 750ml (not the release with the black bag) There is no guarantee the order will come with a box. The 700mL do not come with bags.

The High-Proof Benchmark of Wheated Bourbon
Old Weller Antique 107 (frequently referred to by collectors as OWA 107) is a flagship expression produced at the world-renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky (DSP-KY-113). Bottled at a robust 107 proof (53.5% ABV), OWA delivers a bolder, more concentrated profile than its sibling, the 90-proof Weller Special Reserve.
Built on the legendary Buffalo Trace Wheated Mash Bill, which replaces traditional rye with wheat as the secondary grain, Old Weller Antique delivers an exceptionally full-bodied, velvet-smooth texture coupled with an intense, spicy-sweet complexity.
Collector & Enthusiast Highlights
- Optimal 107 Proofing: At 53.5% ABV, this whiskey retains maximum barrel oils and dark wood sugars, bridging the gap between everyday drinking options and hazmat cask-strength expressions.
- Historic Legacy: Named in honor of William Larue Weller, the 19th-century distiller credited with pioneering the use of wheat in bourbon production, preserving the heritage once elevated at the original Stitzel-Weller distillery.
- High secondary value & allocation: Consistently ranked as a primary target for "Weller Completionists" building out the full 6-bottle rainbow set.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Bold and inviting. Opens with heavy notes of sweet vanilla bean, toasted cinnamon stick, maraschino cherry, and warm dark caramel.
- Palate: Chewy, coating, and full-bodied. The wheat softness immediately balances the 107-proof heat, revealing flavors of honeyed stone fruit, butterscotch, sharp baking spices, and cassia bark.
- Finish: Long, warming, and complex. Decays into lingering notes of dark cocoa, roasted nuts, oak spice, and a gentle citrus peel sparkle.

Frequently Asked Questions
PRODUCER'S NOTES: "This very rare, limited edition bourbon takes generations of distilling know-how to produce. Only the most careful and expensive distilling method can be used to create a whiskey as special as this one. This is the same distillation as our famous 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve. These barrels were carefully selected from the heart of the warehouse. This whiskey should be enjoyed neat. Any ice or water will dilute the uniqueness."
