In 1975, master distiller Charles L. Beam introduced Eagle Rare. The bourbon was originally produced at the Old Prentice Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky (today known as Four Roses). In 1989 Sazerac bought Eagle Rare from Seagrams and moved production to at the time George T. Stagg Distillery (today’s Buffalo Trace). This bottle is from the Old Prentice distillery in Lawrenceburg aged for 10 years and bottled at 90 proof.
