This annual release, A Night on Earth - The Journey is a unique expression created using a perfectly balanced combination of exceptional first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels, along with European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks. Created in collaboration with acclaimed Chinese artist, Nini Sum, this release features innovative multi-layered packaging that provides an exceptional unboxing experience.
This special single malt is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. Ethiopia is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first species of coffee to be cultivated.
With a distinct coffee flavour, this whisky exudes notes of espresso, dark chocolate and sweet oak. The intensely flavoured single malt invites you to immerse yourself in a sensory journey through flavour and aroma.
The sixth and concluding release in The Macallan Harmony Collection; Inspired by Fresh Coconut brings forward a flavour note rarely present in The Macallan.
A vibrant expression bottled at 46.3% ABV, Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut reveals notes of fresh coconut, citrus and tropical fruits layered with vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice. The palate unfolds with coconut milk, zesty lime and soft sweetness, leading to a bright, floral finish.
Through precise cask selection and maturation expertise, our Whisky Mastery Team has skillfully drawn forward a nuanced coconut character rarely present in The Macallan, showcasing the balance between the science and art of whisky making.
