Excellent service for superb whiskey
"Everyone knows about the hooch, the differentiator is "who did you buy it from ?" I was VERY pleased with The Bourbon Concierge. While picking up "non-rare" items at the storefront and chatting whisky with the personable staff. Really I was asking curiousity questions about how the aftermarket functions. I had no prior experience. During our chatter, I'd asked about ECBPC923, a holy grail for me. I was told, we'd charge x and if/when we get it, we we'll contact you. I honestly never expected to hear from them. 10-14 days later, I was surprised by a ping "got it if you want it, terms as we discussed." Ordered. 2days later sipped. I was very happy, and indeed felt as if concierge service was received. Most of us (me included) can rarely justify the aftermarket cost of special bottles that can't easily or at all be found at retail. Or have the free time to react instantly when something allocated hits "your shops" If you have a magic bottle you want badly enough to pay the aftermarket price for, TBC is recommended. I found them in line with most resllers, cheaper than some, and is more importantly - reliable. Trust matters, they've got mine should budget and opportunity somehow collide again."
