Named after Master Distiller Emeritus Elmer T. Lee, this whiskey is hand selected and bottled to the taste and standards which were set forth by Elmer T. Lee himself. The nose brings notes of clove, vanilla, and old leather. The flavor balances fruit, honey and vanilla with a light spiciness. A long and warm finish.

Expect distinct, full-bodied flavor in the celebrated tradition of Weller's wheated bourbon. Weller Single Barrel has a nose of cherry and mint, fading to vanilla. Caramel and baking spices with hints of cocoa explode on the palate, with a finish of cinnamon, coffee, and a hint of pepper.

Some pretty spicy notes, rich with oak on the nose, it's cooled down with fruity figs and plums. Sweet and buttery on the palate, with a surprising hint of orange peel. Some tobacco smokiness follows. The finish is very long indeed, the tobacco notes in full effect.

An 18 year old single barrel bourbon named after the Reverend Elijah Craig, credited with discovering the benefits of ageing bourbon in charred barrels. This is a rich and delectable whiskey, the barrels are hand selected by the Master Distiller Parker Beam. Aged oak, spiced vanilla, with notes of mint and chocolate on the nose. Richly textured, nutty, and semisweet. Initial bursts of honey give way to toasted wood and pleasant char. Lively and engaging, then lingers with vanilla and pepper.

First Bottled in 2014 with continual later releases, Barterhouse is one of the rare vintages from Diageo's Orphan Barrel Series, a series of bottles coming from barrels of bourbon discovered from abandoned or forgotten rickhouses and distilleries. Twenty years in American Oak will make your average spirit a bit mellow. Take all the fight out. Well, this here is no ordinary spirit, and twenty years is long enough to pick up a trick or two. For one barrel in particular, it was long enough to develop the gift of a silver tongue. The old Stitzel-Weller rickhouse hands had it written off as a rumor. A character so smooth, it could clean out the card sharps and take the shirt off a traveling salesman's back. But the rumors were true. And when the chips are in, a smooth operator can be mighty persuasive indeed. Eagle Rare 10 Year is Buffalo Trace Distillery's low-rye Kentucky straight bourbon, aged at least a full decade and bottled at 90 proof — and over the last few years it has quietly become one of the most hunted "everyday" bottles in America.

Here's the part newer collectors often miss: Eagle Rare comes from Buffalo Trace's low-rye mash bill — the same recipe family behind George T. Stagg and E.H. Taylor. Buffalo Trace never publishes its mash bills, but this grouping is one of bourbon's worst-kept secrets — so what you're really holding is Buffalo Trace's juice with years of extra Kentucky warehouse time. The brand predates the modern bourbon boom by decades: master distiller Charles L. Beam launched Eagle Rare in 1975, and Sazerac brought it to what's now Buffalo Trace in 1989. Longtime fans still remember when the label read "Single Barrel" — a designation that quietly came off when a new bottling line could no longer guarantee every bottle drew from one barrel — exactly the kind of trivia that wins bourbon night.

Common questions

Why is Eagle Rare 10 Year so hard to find?
Demand outgrew supply. Eagle Rare became allocated as the bourbon boom collided with a fixed inventory of decade-old barrels — you can't rush ten years of aging — and most stores receive only a handful of bottles at a time.

Is Eagle Rare the same as Buffalo Trace bourbon?
Same distillery, same low-rye recipe family — but Eagle Rare is aged no less than ten years, considerably longer than the flagship Buffalo Trace, which deepens the oak, leather, and dark-sugar character.

Is Eagle Rare 10 a good gift?

Typically a 700ml bottling - As the name suggests, Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel is an uncut, unfiltered bourbon. The recipe is the same as Blanton’s Original and Blanton’s Gold, but the proof will vary from barrel to barrel. Dark chocolate, caramel and butter, with earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut on the nose. The palate delivers notes of warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts and a spiciness with hints of butterscotch or honey.
