A mix of some of Heaven Hill's best styles including rye- and wheat-based whiskey. The result of this is rich, buttery and full of spice. Creamy butterscotch and hints of Muscovado sugar. Corinth raisins and sweet cinnamon. A little gingerbread. Thick, rich palate entry, starting out on rum spice and cinnamon and developing with toffee apples, juicy sultanas, and sweet vanilla. A good dose of warming ginger too. Toasted, spiced finish, fading out on toasted oak, cedar, sweet black coffee, and caramel.

The 12 years of aging and medium proof of 90.4 seem to be just right in creating a very pleasant drink of whiskey. This fine bourbon can compete with any excellent cognac as an after-dinner drink. The overall impression is rich and deep."

A very limited release of Jack Daniel’s Special Release Small Batch Rye, which consists of high-proof batches of Tennessee Rye Whiskey. This one is sourced from the Fire Brigade Fields barrelhouse. Presented at barrel proof in 375 mL bottles and proof points ranging from 142.7 to 146.1, the special release represents some of the most unparalleled and limited Tennessee Rye Whiskey to emerge from the Lynchburg distillery.

A total of 129 Tennessee Rye Whiskey barrels with entry dates spanning 18 months (from February 2016 to August 2017) were matured for an average of 10 years across three barrelhouse groups.

The Antique Collection’s uncut, unfiltered, wheated recipe bourbon is William Larue Weller. Previous editions of this wheater have won many accolades, including a Double Gold Medal at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and “Bourbon of the Year” by “Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2017.”  The 2018 offering was distilled in the winter of 2006 and aged in Warehouses C, I, K, L, M, and Q.  This bourbon registers in at 125.7 proof.  The bold flavors include dried fruit, fig, and caramelized vanilla.

This is the 12th edition of the William Heavenhill bottlings available only at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, Kentucky. Each edition is bottled to showcase the skills of the master distillers, Denny Potter and Charlie Downs. The 12th edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon  comprised of only 30 barrels aged 19 years. These barrels matured on the 4th and 5th floors of Rickhosue A at the historic Glencoe Rickhouse site, as well as the 5th and 7th floors of Rickhouse O at the main Heaven Hill rickhouse site. Bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered, this marks the oldest release in the series todate.
