This the second release of Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon. This release from 2015 was aged for four years and bottled at a barrel proof of 135 proof. Only 5200 bottles were produced.

The Garrison Brothers 2015 Cowboy Bourbon is a rare (only 5,200 bottles) and highly sought-after cask-strength release from Texas' first legal distillery. Aged in the blazing Texas heat, this bourbon delivers bold flavors of rich caramel, toasted oak, and dark fruit, with a long and smooth finish. The 2015 edition is uncut and unfiltered, offering a true expression of Texan craftsmanship and spirit.

Inspired by private single barrels offered in 1964 by former Old Forester president George Garvin Brown II, this modern offering is specifically selected from matured barrels with exquisite quality and distinct characteristics.

Each President’s Choice barrel is aged between 7 - 9 years, and bottled at proof points selected by Caleb and Melissa highlighting their unique flavor profile, traditionally ranging from 110 to 125 proof. Every bottle reflects the highest standards of selection, with only the finest barrels deemed worthy of carrying the President’s Choice name.

Little Book “The Easy” features uncut, unfiltered Kentucky Straight Bourbon blended with corn whiskey, rye whiskey, and malt whiskey – the three ingredients commonly found in a bourbon mash bill—to create an easy-drinking whiskey that’s blended to be one of a kind. 

It all started when I was working in our Global Innovation Center, learning all about blending. I looked at the different types of whiskies available and saw that we had individual corn, rye and malt barrels. I wondered, “If you blend those together to the exact proportions of a bourbon mash bill, will it taste like bourbon?” So I tried it. I blended 4-year-old corn, rye, and malt whiskey, and let me tell you, it didn’t taste like bourbon at all! The corn whiskey overpowered everything else, since the rye whiskey also had some corn in it. 

It wasn’t balanced at all. That’s when I was inspired to blend in the fourth component—some actual finished bourbon whiskey.

When I started my search, our team gave me access to nearly every barrel we had in storage. I tasted and tinkered with bourbon aged six and even nine years, trying to achieve just what I was looking for in my inaugural release. What I found was that blending in four-year-old bourbon did what those others could not—ensured that all ingredients could complement each other without a single piece overpowering the final taste profile.

I found the balance I was looking for. And with it, a new whiskey I’m truly proud of.

On June 1st of the year 1792, the Commonwealth of Kentucky joined the United States of America. Barton 1792 Distillery released a commemorative 225th Anniversary Bourbon as a one-time release for Kentucky.

A distinct batch of barrels were hand-selected especially for this commemorative release. These barrels aged for 10 years at Barton 1792 Distillery before being bottled at specifically 92.15 proof. This special proof is a nod to the year 1792 and to Kentucky being the 15th state to join the Union. The dark blue neck band on the bottle and back label are a salute to the official state seal.

This Bourbon will be unveiled at the Barton 1792 Distillery private 225th Anniversary Party on June 1, where the Distillery is celebrating 225 years with fellow Kentuckians, elected officials and state tourism representatives.

The 2019 release of Bomberger’s is a flavorful 108 proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon. In the aging of this release some Chiquapin (Quercus muehlbergi) oak barrel selected by our Master of Maturation, Andrea Wilson, were utilized.

The 2020 Release of Bomberger’s is a flavorful Kentucky Straight Bourbon with a distinctively smooth character that belies its 108 proof strength. For the aging of this release, our Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson chose barrels made from special wood that has been naturally air dried for over 3 years. While some Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak barrels were utilized in the maturation of the 2019 Release of Bomberger’s, this year our production team opted to increase the proportion of the bourbon that spent time in Chinquapin oak. The special cooperage elevates the unique attributes of this wonderful Kentucky straight bourbon.

A very limited release of Jack Daniel’s Special Release Small Batch Rye, which consists of high-proof batches of Tennessee Rye Whiskey. This one is sourced from the Coy Hill #1 barrelhouse. Presented at barrel proof in 375 mL bottles and proof points ranging from 142.7 to 146.1, the special release represents some of the most unparalleled and limited Tennessee Rye Whiskey to emerge from the Lynchburg distillery.

A total of 129 Tennessee Rye Whiskey barrels with entry dates spanning 18 months (from February 2016 to August 2017) were matured for an average of 10 years across three barrelhouse groups.

Frost 8/80 Dry White Whisky – Brown-Forman

A true rarity from the experimental era of American whiskey, Frost 8/80 Dry White Whisky is as much a conversation piece as it is a spirit.

Originally crafted by Brown-Forman in the early 1970s, this distinctive expression began as an 8-year-aged bourbon before undergoing an innovative filtration process that removed its color—resulting in a crystal-clear “white whiskey” designed to rival vodka in versatility.  The result is a uniquely light-bodied spirit with subtle notes of oak and soft vanilla, offering a delicate, dry profile unlike traditional bourbon.

Though short-lived and ultimately pulled from the market, Frost 8/80 has since become a sought-after collector’s bottle—an intriguing snapshot of a time when distillers reimagined what whiskey could be.  Take this opportunity to add interesting history to your collection.
