From the legendary Blanton's Distillery, this limited edition single barrel bourbon is a collaboration between Buffalo Trace and La Maison du Whisky, the renowned French spirits retailer. Each barrel is hand-selected by La Maison du Whisky's experts, ensuring a truly unique and exceptional experience.
This year's River Edition is bottled at cask strength, revealing its full-bodied flavor and complexity. On the nose, aromas of rich vanilla, caramel, and oak greet you. The first sip brings notes of dark fruit, spice, and honey, followed by a long, lingering finish.
Aged for a minimum of 6 years in Warehouse H, the heart of the Blanton's Distillery, this bourbon has developed a rich and complex flavor profile. The unique microclimate of Warehouse H, with its high humidity and fluctuating temperatures, allows the bourbon to mature more quickly and develop unique characteristics.
The Blanton's La Maison du Whisky 2023 Single Barrel River Edition is a must-have for any bourbon enthusiast. Its limited availability and cask strength bottling make it a truly special and collectible whiskey.

The result is extraordinary. A fine balance between rippling power and delicate nuance. There's nothing else like it.
Nose: Oak and vanilla are predominant on the nose, with undertones of mint, caramel and baking spice
Palate: Warm and bold, with lots of spices. Very faint hints of peat and smoke. Slightly earthy
Finish: Surprisingly easy drinking for its proof with a long, warm, spicy finish.

In the nineteenth century, bourbon aristocrat Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. exuded a passion for producing the finest whiskey in the world.
This bourbon honors Taylor’s enduring spirit of innovation and commitment to exceptional whiskey by introducing Amaranth as the flavoring grain. Amaranth was originally cultivated by the Aztecs and is known as the “Grain of the Gods.”
This ancient grain is similar to wheat, but offers a complex taste with subtle flavors ranging from a nose of butterscotch and spearmint, to a finish of pecans and dark berries. Amaranth roughly translates to “never fading,” just like the legacy of Colonel Taylor, the founding father of the modern bourbon industry.
Booker’s 25th Anniversary Bourbon was released to celebrate the 25th year of Booker’s Bourbon and includes the oldest whiskey ever bottled for the Booker’s line (9-11 years). But wait, there’s more: these barrels were not just the oldest ever bottled under the Booker’s name, but were also among the last barrels Booker laid down before his passing. Booker’s 25th Anniversary Bourbon was taken from the 5th floor (“center cut”) of the Jim Beam warehouses to get that perfect balance of rustic (oak, grain, leather, etc.) and sweetness (caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, etc.).

T8ke's Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Full, rich, vibrant: baked apple, cinnamon, maple and an icing note pops on the nose. There's cherry, orange peel, fuji and red delicious apple, cinnamon, brown butter and delicious maple candies that just emanates. Tons of sweetness, oakiness begins to show after a moment in the glass with a hint of char, loads of baking spice and maple with some light pipe tobacco and creamy, decadent, vanilla bean.
- Palate: Rich and layered, the supple, pillowy, opulent texture of the old Canadian marries well with the rich, faintly brash qualities of the Kentucky whiskey. Delivering rich brioche and cinnamon, fatty syrupy dessert characters like caramel and toffee and praline with notes of pepper, bold oak, a hint of pipe tobacco and gobs of brittle this becomes a sneaky beast. Hints of marmalade and deep, luxardo cherry develop with airtime.
- Finish: Long, long, holding, grippy, balanced. There's oak, it holds, it carries all of the dessert character, baking spice, toffee and a faint show of honey before satisfying oak, apple bake, vanilla bean and more brulee takes over.
- Overall: A quiet giant, whisper loud in all the right way
19th Edition Tasting Notes

- Nose: Butterscotch and toasted marshmallow. Peanut brittle with oak spices.
- Taste: Rich caramel sweetness at first, then rye spices and roasted nuts.
-
Finish: Stewed apples with an aged malt note and a spicy white pepper kick at the last.
