We created this whiskey in partnership with RdV, bringing together the best in Virginia wine and whiskey alike. Barrels of our high rye mashbill bourbon is bottled at barrel proof once it hit 9 years old. Bold baking spice, sweet honey, rich maple and Demerara sugar pop on the nose while deep tobacco, vanilla and decadent caramel shine on the palate. We produce Hunt Country to have a long, satisfying finish that ties together sweet dessert character and satisfying spice for a perfect pour.

This release marks the first-ever Very Olde St. Nick private label collaboration, bottled for the first time outside Preservation Distillery in its iconic 375ml format and presented at full cask strength. The whiskey is a custom blend of Stitzel-Weller distilled 17- and 21-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon preserved for decades in stainless steel tanks—liquid from a legendary distillery that no longer exists.

Curated under the stewardship of Marci Palatella, Founder of Preservation Distillery and one of the most influential figures in modern American whiskey, this release represents a convergence of history, rarity, and uncompromising quality.

Experience Notes:

Nose: Deep and immediately expressive, opening with antique leather, polished oak, and old library books. Waves of dark caramel, molasses, and toffee follow, layered with dried fig, black cherry, and pipe tobacco. Subtle notes of baking spice, clove oil, and dusty rickhouse oak underscore the whiskey’s age and provenance.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied, showcasing the unmistakable Stitzel-Weller mouthfeel. Rich caramel and brûléed sugar lead, followed by cocoa powder, roasted pecan, and dark honey. The mid-palate reveals seasoned oak, dried apricot, and a gentle herbal note, all perfectly integrated despite the cask-strength presentation.

Finish: Long, warm, and contemplative. Leather, old oak, and sweet tobacco linger alongside dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and a final echo of spice. The finish fades slowly, leaving a refined sweetness and a sense of depth that only extended aging can provide

Rhetoric 24 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the fifth in the Rhetoric Series of progressively aged whiskeys from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company. Diageo's Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company is a series of bottles that came from barrels that were abandoned or forgotten at rickhouses and distilleries. Aged 5 years longer than the first release, it is slightly more mature and carries a 90.6 proof. The whiskey will continue to be progressively aged and were re-released annually at a year older.

  • Nose:  Rich oak, tobacco and Luxardo cherry pops first. Less cedar and more oak, expressive and heavy. Rich parchment, apples, peaches, pears and plums meets flamed orange and rich cherry. Heavy oak, more tobacco and a touch of bitters. 
  • Palate: Opulent texture, creaminess and depth: cola, caramelized sugars, more orange and cherry, with the introduction of candied dates, apples, blackberry, and deep pipe tobacco. Dank and musty with a pop of bright acidity and heavy oak: some candied ginger and rich cola, cream soda, and chocolate covered cherries.   
  • Finish: Long finish, packed with oaky tannin, rich cola, a slight reduction to jammy fruit and pepper with building baking spices: cinnamon and more tannin. Pipe tobacco, stewed fruits, vanilla flan and caramelized sugars. 
  • Overall:  Threading the needle between dread and delight. 

Weller 12 Years Old Year Of The Snake is a limited-edition bottling of Weller, the original wheated bourbon, released exclusively for the Taiwanese market to celebrate the Year of the Snake. Weller is made with wheat instead of rye in the mash bill, giving the bourbon its signature sweet, gentle and smooth character. A long maturation in new oak casks brings complex flavors of vanilla, oak and cinnamon. Weller 12 Years Old Year Of The Snake is presented in a special tube with a gorgeous snake design.

This small batch bourbon won Best in Class and double gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

“Barry’s Batch” Background: In 1995, we hit a big milestone: our family had been making whiskey for over 200 years. It was high time for some festivities, particularly after the rough go of it bourbon had in the 80’s. Barry took the opportunity to throw a party bigger than any we’d ever had, bringing people from around the world for food, drinks, and a good time. All day, Barry brought Beam pride to everyone in the crowd. He stood front and center on stage from morning to night, his energy never flagging, highlighting what we’d accomplished and drumming up excitement for all we were about to achieve.

He hosted the main event of the afternoon, where we invited anyone and everyone named “Jim Beam” to come on over and join the leaders on stage. He proclaimed their names louder than anyone else, proud to be honoring the name above the door. I can still see him, surrounded by dozens of those Jims, beaming. If it weren’t for Barry, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We’re more than grateful for everything he did and everything he was: a real good guy, and truly one of a kind. So, here’s to you Barry, you’ll always be in our hearts. 

The color of “Barry’s Batch” is a bright golden amber, inviting you to lean in and take in the wonderful aroma. The nose is warm and welcoming, with hints of vanilla and a touch of sweetness from the more than 7 years it spent aging in new white oak barrels.  The balanced finish was smooth and left me wanting more – it’s just that good! I know Dad would have loved to celebrate his long-time friend and colleague with this bourbon named after him. I really hope you enjoy Barry’s Batch as much as I enjoyed creating it!

The year 2025 marks the first release of Bomberger’s PFG™ (Precision Fine Grain) Kentucky Straight Bourbon. The focus is to be precise at every step of the Bomberger’s PFG™ production process.

Bomberger’s PFG™ is made by first aging Kentucky Straight Bourbon in a new toasted and charred American oak barrel. After full maturation, the Kentucky Straight Bourbon is removed from the first barrel and placed in a second new, custom, proprietary toasted and charred French fine grain oak barrel of the most exacting specifications. These barrels are toasted at a tightly defined temperature range for a precise period of time before they receive a select charring. The whiskey is matured in these second barrels before being dumped into small batches that undergo our signature filtration prior to bottling at 100.2 proof (50.1% ABV).

The Bomberger’s PFG™ finishing barrel is a blend of wood from various origins, including the revered Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges forests. It is constructed from wood that has been naturally air dried outdoors for a minimum of 40 months in France near the Charente River, which has a unique seasoning environment influenced by humidity, microflora creation, climate, wind direction, and elevation. After this seasoning, the staves are hand selected to construct the Bomberger’s PFG™ finishing barrels.
