Old Swagger 12-Year Straight Rye (4th Release)

A Masterclass in Maturity. The Boldest Chapter of the Rising Tide.

In an era of young, high-speed spirits, Old Swagger 12-Year stands as a testament to the power of patience. This 4th Release from Rising Tide Spirits is a rare bird: a 12-year-old Straight Rye Whiskey that carries the prestige.

This is rye whiskey with a "swagger" that only comes from a decade-plus of dancing with the wood.

The Profile: Power, Spice, and Structural Depth

While younger ryes are often characterized by "green" herbal notes, this 12-year expression has moved into the realm of dark sugars and deep spice. The extra time in the barrel has rounded the rye’s natural "bite" into a sophisticated, warming complexity.

• Nose: An immediate, aromatic invitation of salted caramel, dark chocolate-covered ginger, and aged oak. Secondary notes of mint leaf, clove, and a hint of dusty warehouse funk emerge as it breathes.

• Palate: Full-bodied and authoritative. Expect a rich, oily texture that delivers waves of maple syrup, toasted rye bread, and black pepper. Mid-palate, you'll find a delightful transition into stone fruit—think dried apricots and cherry skins.

• Finish: Long, dry, and triumphant. The "Bottled-in-Bond" 100 proof provides the perfect heat, tapering into cinnamon stick, cigar box, and a lingering sweetness of vanilla bean.

The 4th Release Distinction

The 4th Release of Old Swagger represents the pinnacle of Rising Tide's sourcing and curation. At 12 years old, the rye grain has fully integrated with the charred American oak, creating an experience that rivals the most sought-after ryes in the country. It is a "pour-for-the-occasion" whiskey that commands respect from the first sip to the last.

The flagship release of 1787 Provenance, this single barrel, Kentucky Straight Bourbon is an exercise in elegance, complexity and the art of hand selected barrels of our best whiskey.

First Bottled in 2014 with continual later releases, Barterhouse is one of the rare vintages from Diageo's Orphan Barrel Series, a series of bottles coming from barrels of bourbon discovered from abandoned or forgotten rickhouses and distilleries. Twenty years in American Oak will make your average spirit a bit mellow. Take all the fight out. Well, this here is no ordinary spirit, and twenty years is long enough to pick up a trick or two. For one barrel in particular, it was long enough to develop the gift of a silver tongue. The old Stitzel-Weller rickhouse hands had it written off as a rumor. A character so smooth, it could clean out the card sharps and take the shirt off a traveling salesman's back. But the rumors were true. And when the chips are in, a smooth operator can be mighty persuasive indeed. One sip of Barterhouse Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and you just might find yourself forgiving Robert Johnson for trading his soul to the very devil himself.

Our finest, high age statement, barrels of hand selected Kentucky Bourbon make up our most storied release. This is our first Limited Edition Cask Strength release, blended to release as a bold, nuanced pour that's full of dark cherries, cocoa, cola and tobacco.

Distilled: Kentucky

Aged: Kentucky & Virginia

Bottled: Virginia

Four Roses Super Premium (with Gift Box)

In February 2002, Kirin Brewery Company of Japan purchased the Four Roses brand. Although this is an exclusive release for the Japanese market, it was actually more uncommon to find Four Roses in the US when this was introduced in 1992.

Four Roses bourbon was unavailable in its home country for a long time until Kirin reintroduced it to the American market.

80% of the liquid is over 8 years old, while the other 20% is 10 years or older.

Uncut and unfiltered, this hand-bottled bourbon is barrel proof. Weller substitutes wheat for the traditional rye grain, a production method pioneered by W.L. Weller. Fragrant scents of caramel corn, new leather, plums, light toffee and pipe tobacco. The palate tastes of marshmallow, salted almonds, nougat, figs and dates. This whiskey finishes smooth, composed and flavorfully sweet.

Note: The actual year might differ from the bottle shown in the picture. If you want to request a specific year, please contact us.

Rhetoric 25 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the sixth and final in the Rhetoric Series of progressively aged whiskeys from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company. Diageo's Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company is a series of bottles that came from barrels that were abandoned or forgotten at rickhouses and distilleries. Aged 6 years longer than the first release, it is slightly more mature and carries a 90.6 proof. The whiskey will continue to be progressively aged and were re-released annually at a year older.
