Tasting Notes

The palate delivers notes of vanilla, oak, and
toasted nuts with hints of caramel. It has a deep, dry and resonate finish.

The Balvenie French Oak 16 Year Old is a vibrant single malt finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards. First Cask: 16 years of maturation in American Oak casks. Second Cask: Finishing in Pineau casks.

The Balvenie PortWood 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of rare Balvenie aged 21 years in traditional oak casks and then finished in port casks or “pipes”. The taste is refined and with remarkable character, it is creamy and silky on the palate, with fruit, honey and spice notes. On the nose it is perfume of fruity and ripe raisin notes, backed by a nutty dryness with a long, gentle and nutty finish.
Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water to expand the flavor.

The 14th edition of Parker’s Heritage Collection features Heaven Hill’s traditional rye Bourbon mashbill, aged in specialty barrels that were charred for a full minute and a half, as opposed to our traditional 40 seconds. These “Level 5” barrels were aged for a full 10 years, where the heavier char allowed the Bourbon to penetrate further into the barrel, bringing forth caramel and maple sweetness. Fruit forward on the nose with smooth, rich marmalade on the palate. Cloves & cinnamon on the finish.
