An ultra-rare expression from one of the most revered names in agave releases, this is the Day of the Dead collection from Clase Azul. Each vintage is released in custom, ceremonial bottles that change from year to year, with every release. 

Clase Azul's Day of the Dead Tequilas are a collection of premium tequilas crafted to honor and celebrate the Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). These tequilas are meticulously made with the finest blue agave plants, carefully selected and distilled to achieve exceptional quality.

Each bottle in the Day of the Dead collection is adorned with exquisite artwork, inspired by the vibrant and colorful imagery associated with the holiday. The bottles are custom produced and decorated with intricate details, making them unique works of art that embody the spirit of Día de los Muertos.

With five signature elements – intense fruit character, creamy texture, vanilla oak, butter, and mouthwatering acidity- this wine is the benchmark California Chardonnay, revered by critics and consumers around the world.

Ripe peach, citrus fruits, spice, and pie crust aromas all mingle and lift from the glass. The citrus supported by notes of apricot continues onto the palate which is concentrated with a rich, creamy middle palate, and strong supporting acidity. The finish is long and marked with hints of vanilla. This wine will continue to build richness as it ages in the bottle.

Like Patrón, legendary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro was born in Jalisco – it was this connection that brought them together, resulting in a tequila and liqueur that goes far beyond what this world has ever tasted.

Espadín
The Espadín agave, known as the genetic Mother of the Blue Weber Agave, is used to produce tequila, and is also the predominant agave used in mezcal production. Unique in itself, the characteristics of this agave showcase the aromas of wet earth, a rich smokiness on the mid-palate, and a finish reminiscent of wild flowers.

Barril
This thick-foliaged, wild agave, often used as fencing to divide land in Oaxaca, intensifies the complexity of this mezcal. As citrus and floral notes arise, hints of green peppers compliment the nose. The palate is a delightful balance of citrus and creamy banana.

Mexicano
The Mexicano agave thrives in the moist environment of lower elevations. This wild agave can grow quite large and is usually harvested when close to ten years of age. The concentration of sugar in the fully mature agave produces an extremely powerful mezcal. The palate is distinctively herbaceous and earthy with a long lasting finish in the mouth.
