T8KE's Tasting Notes: 

• Nose:  Decadent maple and pie notes: brown butter, caramels, nougat, butterscotch and vanilla bean. Free of funk and heavy on decadent dessert, this Cuvee settles in for a Fall pour with notes of cinnamon, cola and butterscotch as you nose. 

• Palate: Rich palate, viscous and layered. Chewy. Up front there’s rich cherry cola, molasses and maple candies, a hint of baking spice, toasted oak and cinnamon with a rich, oily texture. On the back palate the oak develops, subtle at first and brings a nice spine to the flavors all piled up. Cherry cola and rich pipe tobacco sit on the palate. Touch of espresso and hazelnut. 

• Finish: The finish is long, the spice stays on the palate and fades on the finish with honeyed pastry, cherries, apple butter, brown sugar, fresh honey and light notes of pipe tobacco, oak and caramels to see it through

• Overall: Maybe I can get ‘Cuvee of Kentucky’ to catch on. This is phenomenal stuff (I am biased).
