While visiting the island of Madeira the Hendersons discovered several extraordinary casks. We then aged our Kentucky Straight Bourbon in them for over a year, resulting in a whiskey that’s worthy of our Cellar Collection.

Our Kentucky Straight Bourbon was aged in these extraordinary Madeira casks for over a year. The result—an uncommonly excellent whiskey.

  Caramelized banana, brown sugar, freshly baked raisins, almonds and faint cherry notes

  Pleasantly rich, with notes of toasted oak, grass, smoke, leather, chocolate and dried cherries

2025 Hardin's Creek release from Jim Beam. For 11 years, this whiskey took shelter in the cool, damp climate of one of our single-floor rickhouses. All the while, its flavor was taking root, developing the rich profile we taste today.

This small-batch bourbon offers a bouquet of vanilla spice followed by rich, creamy toffee on the palate. It finishes quickly with a touch of sweetness.

From the distiller:

Over the past few years, we have set aside a selection of our oldest barrels. Upon identifying a magnificent range, we began a meticulous blending process to create the next edition of The Vaults. True to Widow Jane, these barrels were married together only ever in hyper small batches. The result is a bourbon unparalleled in its complexity, yet rarer still for its age. This luxuriant whiskey, once married, was then finished in barrels raised with four-year air-seasoned Chinquapin oak. The finishing barrel’s oak staves were air seasoned for at least 48 months. The track of timber from which this Chinquapin was harvested hails from Northern Kentucky, on a limestone rich shelf, providing ideal soil nutrients and conditions for this rarer species to grow.

Nose: Toasted Marshmallow, Pear Turnover, Honey Dew, Cinnamon

Palate: Honeycomb, Butterscotch, Raisin, Molasses, Dried Apricots, Root Beer

Finish: Pralines & Cream, Roasted Oolong, Black Walnut, Licorice The Vaults 2023 is a limited-edition release worldwide on strict allocation.

Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, it is complex yet perfectly balanced from the first sip through to the sweet, salty finish.

 Rye fans will love this robust whiskey. Bottled at 100 proof this traditional rye is packed with the familiar spice and pepper that rye whiskeys are known for. However, it is well rounded with notes of clove, cinnamon and raw honey.
