Laphroaig Càirdeas 2023 White Port & Madeira is a distinctive single malt scotch for consumers looking to expand their horizons when appreciating the finer things in life. Laphroaig is an acquired taste for some, an essential taste for many - and for those who embrace it, a friend for life. Càirdeas means “friendship” in Gaelic. Laphroaig Càirdeas 2023 White Port & Madeira is a limited-edition single malt that combines Madeira and white port casks. Three quarters of the whisky is matured in second-fill Madeira casks, releasing smoky, spicy and sweet fruit flavors. The final quarter has been finished in first-fill Port casks; the majority of these are white port, adding a hint of crisp fruit and deep woodiness to the flavor. Enjoy neat, over ice or with a few drops of purified water.
Named for Nikka's founding father Masataka Taketsuru, the 17 year old has long been coveted by the American market, which could only read the bombastic tasting notes from international travelers and whisky fans living abroad. The Nikka 17 is one of the most celebrated of the available portfolio and really brings the goods flavorwise—round and soft with dried fruits and an earthy, meaty flavor on the profile, this is not only of the best Nikka whiskies we've ever carried, but one of the best Japanese whiskies period.

After 15 years of maturation in American white-oak, ex-bourbon casks, around 30% of the whisky is transferred into Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for three years. When both parts have reached 18 years, they are blended together. The Oloroso casks provide an incredible degree of vibrancy, while the American oak balances the raisin-like sweetness of the sherry.
From Scotland’s tallest stills, Glenmorangie’s Quinta Ruban is first aged in ex-bourbon casks, which impart smooth, fruity notes. Transferred into specially selected ruby port pipes from Portugal’s finest estates, Quinta Ruban gains new depth, velvety textures and bold chocolate flavours. This whisky is non-chill-filtered to highlight its complex aromas and rich mouthfeel.
Dr Bill, our Director of Whisky Creation, was born with a taste for adventure. And with this single malt he sought to create a whisky as unpredictable as his travels.
Quinta Ruban is a whisky journey into the wild – a dark and delectable forest where the wind whistles with gusts of peppermint and dark swirls of chocolate can happen at any moment.
In our giraffe-high stills, it begins soft and fruity, then gets darker and deeper as we let it age for 14 years in bourbon casks and port casks from Portugal.
The finished whisky is a thicket of voluptuous flavour combinations. Walnut and black pepper. Mandarin orange and melted marshmallow. Dark chocolate bar and peppermint.
Like stepping into a chocolate-minty-orange unknown, the journey is as delicious as the destination.

One of the most legendary bourbons ever bottled, this 1974 A.H. Hirsch 16 Year Gold Foil is a masterpiece of rich caramel, antique oak, and elegant spice—an icon for collectors.
This year’s Parker’s Heritage Collection release is also named “Promise of Hope,” and is also unique in that it’s the first single barrel Bourbon to be released in the series. Parker Beam personally selected around 100 barrels from Heaven Hill’s inventory at his favorite spot for “honey barrels” in the company’s Deatsville maturation warehouses, the top tiers of Rickhouse EE. The whiskey is 10 years old, and bottled without chill-filtering at Parker’s preferred strength of 48% ABV. A perfectly balanced, sweet smelling nose. Hints of fruits and spice, enhanced with oak. Caramelized sugar, honey and maple stand out the most. A very complex splash of flavors when it hits the tongue. Caramelized sugar and apples, with dashes of sweet honey and maple syrup. As it settles on the back of your tongue, oak characteristics come into play. Caramel also begin to pull out over the sugars.
