Back in the 1960s through the 80s, distilleries were having trouble selling their whiskey in bottles so they started creating unique bottlings through the use of Decanters. Old Crow, which was owned and produced by National Distillers created a full chess set of decanter bottles, complete with all pieces and the ability to send them postage to receive a carpeted chessboard as well. The whiskey inside is 86pf and age stated 10 years, but is among some of the highest rated whiskey by vintage enthusiasts that has ever been produced.

Old Fitzgerald 7 Year Gift Set

Aged for 11 years, this limited-edition straight rye whiskey is made from a mash of 100% rye and bottled at 111 proof.

This expression was from the first batch of pappy van winkle 20 year which was released using green tinted glass from 1994 to 1998.    Bottled in Lawrenceburg, KY , the distillation used for the first release is old Boone which was a traditional bourbon mash bill with rye as the secondary grain. 

This very limited 20-year-old bourbon whiskey lives up to its name, maturing twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10-year-old bourbon and featuring two beautifully-sculpted crystal glass eagles in the Double Eagle decanter.

A true collectors’ item, Double Eagle Very Rare is presented in a luxurious silver box and crystal decanter. Very few bottles were produced, with an individually-numbered letter of authenticity included with each.
