For this, our eleventh utterance of the mantra, WhistlePig's whiskey makers journey to Rajasthan, India - the Land of Kings - in search of precious spices to forge the world’s first Thandai barrel aged Rye. An alluring elixir served in celebration of victory and creation, Thandai joins the shakti of Straight Rye Whiskey with a floral meditation of saffron, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg, further enlivened by fennel, poppy and black peppercorn. The result is a splendid wellspring of strength and majesty; a saga befitting the maharajah of Rye.

WhistlePig Double Malt 18 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey is a mouthful in both senses, and it's the oldest WP's release to date. This Rye Whiskey (79% rye, 15% malted rye, and 6% malted barley) spent full 18 years in the barrel and the result is a symphony of soft, floral rich and spicy flavors. Sweet and aromatic on the nose with notes of berries, nutmeg and toasted oak. Smooth and spicy dance of fruity and floral flavors, followed by vanilla and oak on the palate. Long, clean and spicy finish.

In 1996, a catastrophic fire destroyed the Old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery in Bardstown KY. To continue its distilling heritage, Heaven Hill purchased Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY in 1999, which included the Old Fitzgerald brand. Distilled in 1999, this special release celebrates the 25th anniversary of Heaven Hill continuing the legacy of the Old Fitzgerald brand today.

This ninth edition of the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Series holds a 17-year-old age statement and meets the strict requirements of a bottled-in-bond: the product of a single distillery from a single distilling season, aged a minimum of four years, and bottled at 100 proof or 50% alcohol by volume. As has always been a signature of transparency on bottled-in-bond products all bottles have the tax strip with the season and year of distillation and bottling.

The International Order of St. Hubertus is comprised of an international group of individuals, Ordensbrothers, who are passionate about the sports of hunting and fishing, and who are vitally interested and actively involved in the preservation of wildlife, its habitat, and the tradition of ethical hunting and fishing. Ordensbrothers include dedicated upland bird hunters, duck hunters, and hunters of larger and big game. A number of Ordensbrothers are also avid freshwater and fly fishermen, as well as big game fishermen. One constant among all Ordensbrothers, however, is that these hunting and fishing pursuits and the preservation of wildlife, habitat, and our hunting and fishing heritage and traditions is a real and personal interest. Ordensbrothers are individuals who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their careers and personal lives, and who have been recognized as ethical hunters or fishermen, and in their communities, professions, or in other organizations as having made a significant contribution. The Armagnac-aged rye whiskey named Best in Show after the blind tasting at 2017's San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Black Prince is a 4th edition of the boss hog. It is the first Rye Whiskey ever finished in Armagnac casks, straight from France. Expect bold, powerful spice on the palate with notes of apricot, clove, and cinnamon. Each year, Old Forester releases a limited edition Birthday Bourbon to commemorate the birthday of George Garvin Brown on September 2nd.
