This is the 12th edition of the William Heavenhill bottlings available only at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, Kentucky. Each edition is bottled to showcase the skills of the master distillers, Denny Potter and Charlie Downs. The 12th edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon comprised of only 30 barrels aged 19 years. These barrels matured on the 4th and 5th floors of Rickhosue A at the historic Glencoe Rickhouse site, as well as the 5th and 7th floors of Rickhouse O at the main Heaven Hill rickhouse site. Bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered, this marks the oldest release in the series todate.

W.L. Weller Special Reserve (2025 Gold Foil Edition)
The Original Wheated Bourbon – Elevated for 2025
Known as the "Original Wheated Bourbon," W.L. Weller Special Reserve replaces the traditional rye grain with wheat to create an exceptionally soft, smooth, and approachable profile. This 2025 Gold Foil Edition takes that heritage and wraps it in a stunning, limited-edition presentation.
Featuring the iconic gold foil neck wrap, a design cue historically reserved for the most prestigious "dusty" bottles produced at the old Stitzel-Weller distillery this 2025 release is as much a centerpiece for your display as it is a world-class sipper.
Why the "Gold Foil" Matters to Bourbon Collectors
-
Nostalgic Heritage: The gold foil aesthetic is a direct tribute to the high-end Weller bottlings of the 1970s and 80s, bridging the gap between modern Buffalo Trace excellence and the "Old School" Weller legacy.
-
Limited 2025 Allocation: Unlike the standard Special Reserve, the Gold Foil release is produced in significantly lower quantities, making it a high-velocity target for "Weller Completionists."
-
The Buffalo Trace Pedigree: Distilled at the world's most awarded distillery (DSP-KY-113) using the same wheated mash bill as Pappy Van Winkle, this bottle offers a 90-proof masterclass in balance and sweetness.
Tasting Notes: The Gold Standard Profile
-
Nose: A warm, inviting bouquet of honey, butterscotch, and soft floral notes, underpinned by a hint of toasted oak.
Palate: Remarkable creaminess on the tongue. Expect flavors of caramel apple, vanilla bean, and a delicate honeyed sweetness that only a 10-year-plus aging cycle (relative to standard batches) can provide. -
Finish: Exceptionally clean and calm. It leaves a lingering sweetness with a "burnt orange" citrus zest that defines the 2025 harvest.
Age: 2025
ABV: 45% ABV, 90 Proof

Our favorite felines are back in the next iteration of Mars’s charming and popular Lucky Cat series. Honoring two cats we’ve previously seen grace a label (but never together), this “Double Individuals” blend features May, a twenty-year-old cat represented by rich sherry maturity, and Hana, nearly half May’s age, whose gregariousness is represented by elegant port wine influence. The two energies combine to create a lavish whisky evocative of cats napping peacefully in their favorite sun-splashed room.

- Malt distillate double distilled in copper pot stills
- Aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels and ex-port casks; non-age statement
- Aromas of vanilla, caramel, and raisin lead to a palate of stewed apricot, bittersweet chocolate, and ripe red berries

With the 6th release of Frank August's multi-award-winning CASE STUDY series, CASE STUDY: 06 | LEGACY RESERVE | 6 BARREL BATCH, the brand sought to honor the heritage of Kentucky bourbon by blending the past and present; literally and philosophically. Comprised of 9x, six-barrel batches of 8, 9, and 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys, this release represents a thoughtful dialogue between three of Kentucky's most storied legacy distilleries.
Rather than showcasing a single origin or finish, the intent was to explore how time, place, and tradition converge when approached through a thoughtful lens of blending. Each barrel was selected not for its individual pedigree, but for its ability to contribute nuance, balance, and continuity; layering the elegance of well-aged whiskey with the structure and character that defines Frank August.
The result is a bourbon that bridges generations: deeply grounded in the craftsmanship that built Kentucky's reputation yet guided by a contemporary pursuit of precision and restraint. CASE STUDY: 06 I LEGACY RESERVE is both a reflection on where bourbon has been and a statement on where it can go next.
TASTING NOTES: This 6-barrel blend, composed of two hand-selected barrels each from three of Kentucky's most storied distilleries, brings together 8, 9 and 10-year-old bourbons in a composition that honors legacy while embracing individuality. It's a whiskey shaped by provenance but defined by balance.
APPEARANCE:Rich amber with copper undertones. Viscous and steady, its legs reveal structure and maturity, while its color reflects the depth of seasoned oak and years of patient aging.
NOSE: Inviting and layered, the nose opens with vanilla bean, honeycomb, and caramelized pear. Beneath the sweetness lies a beam of seasoned oak; warm, structured, and unmistakably grounded. Subtle undertones of baking spices, candied fruit, and brown sugar, rise with time in the glass, revealing the depth of its age.
PALATE: Rich and expressive. Waves of butterscotch, dark toffee, and baking spice unfold slowly, balanced by roasted pecan and a hint of orange zest. Theres' a wild elegance to it, an energy that stirs beneath the surface; complex yet composed, like a story that's been passed down, but never told the same way twice.
FINISH: Long and deliberate. Echoes of toasted sugar, charred oak, and dried cherry linger, softened by a silky mouthfeel. Just as it begins to fade, a final note emerges; balanced, elevated, and quietly powerful. A finish that feels nothing short of heavenly.
The 2017 Dom Pérignon is so impressive. A sort of mini-2002, the 2017 is a Champagne of textural richness and resonance above all else. Its creamy, voluptuous contours are so inviting. Production for the 2017 is tiny, about a three-month supply, so this wine will come and go pretty quickly. That represents a fairly dramatic shift in philosophy at Dom Pérignon. In the past, a wine like the 2017 would not have been commercially viable because of its small volume. Today, Chef de Caves Vincent Chaperon prefers to bottle Dom Pérignon in every vintage, if possible, as a document of the year, even if that means some releases will be very small. The 2017 is a wild, exotic Dom Pérignon.
