TASTING NOTES:
APPROACH: This is Frank August's 2nd release of hand-selected single barrels from their growing library of some of the most beautiful Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey available today. With this release, the brand has continued to leverage their unparalleled relationships with some of the most respected and discerning master distillers and master blenders in the industry, by enlisting them to help identify the very best 15 single barrels in their collection. Through this collective process, each hand hand-selected barrel was bottled at cask strength, sitting between 114.6 - 125.4 proof and are 6.1 years old.
APPEARANCE: A deep auburn with full, viscous legs that glaze the glass.
NOSE: Frank August's Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon opens with a range of beautiful baking spices and notes of oak and fruit, before elements of vanilla and cacao begin to present themselves.
PALATE: The baking spices are more pronounced, with cinnamon coming forward initially, before rye spices begin to gradually introduce themselves, warmly coating your mouth. At proofs between 114.6 - 125.4, there's an intensity that is exceptionally balanced by some of the sweet vanilla and caramel notes you initially pick up on the nose.
FINISH: A long balanced finish that continues to develop between each taste. As the cask strength begins to wane, you'll continue to pick up baking spices and hints of black cherries and cacao, layered between subtle notes of oak and vanilla.

The 2014 bottling of the premium selection of four roses that was garnered as a small batch and a one time limited edition for 2014 that is distinct from the previous small batch limited editions. The nose introduced warm aromas of allspice, vanilla bean, rich apricot, and stewed fruits. It is followed by a palate of bright raspberry flavors and hint of decadent, sweet maraschino cherry and light oak. If that isn't enough the finish is long with a notes of rich brown sugar and hints of cinnamon. This bottle is a combination of 15, 13, and 12 year old recipes. Due to this being a small batch limited edition, bottles are now scarce and a rarity in stores.
This marvel ages in oak barrels following the exclusive “Soleira” method, harmoniously combining cachaças from 6 to 15 years old.
It has a golden color, and its taste has notes of caramel, honey, dry fruits and vanilla. Its smoothness can be enjoyed neat, on ice, as an aperitif or after dinner.

In this case, that good thing is a rum first conceived of nearly three years ago among friends around a table in the hot, humid climate of Jamaica's Trelawny Parish. In the summer of 2022, we took a trip down there with our colleagues at Prestige-Ledroit to visit one of the most incredible distilleries on earth, the legendary Hampden Estate.
Hampden has been producing rum for over 250 years and the facility is truly a marvel to behold. Walking the grounds and production areas helps one to understand how Hampden produces some of the most distinctive, high-quality, and sought-after rum in the world.
To commemorate this trip, we created a blend of three of Hampden's iconic rum marks – LFCH, LROK, and <>H – aged for several years in the tropical climate of northwest Jamaica. The blend is composed of ten barrels that were distilled on Hampden's famed double retort pot stills, selected by us and blended to our specifications, and bottled at cask strength with no adulteration.
First passed in 1897, the Bottled-in-Bond Act is a crucial piece of quality control that defines the whiskey industry. For a bourbon to be labeled ‘bonded’ or ‘bottled-in-bond,’ it must adhere to this prominent American legislation. The Act states a whiskey must be aged in a United States’ federally bonded barrelhouse for a minimum of four years, bottled at 100 proof, and be the product of one distillery and one distilling season.
Introducing the first batch of Bulleit Bottled-in-Bond whiskey. One of mastery and quality, hailing from the 2017 distillation season. The deep flavor of the liquid is a result of perseverance and patience.
Booker’s ‘The Reserves’ is a very limited release LTO curated by Freddie Noe to commemorate his granddaddy, Booker Noe’s, contributions to the bourbon world. In Freddie’s words, “It’s the kind of bourbon I believe my granddaddy would be making, if he were still here with us now”.
This mezcal bursts with notes of bell pepper and fresh leather on the nose, bolstered by a palate of the creamy lactic notes for which Salmiana is famous, and a racy edge that reminds us it was distilled using a sharp, light pulque.
