Tasting Notes: Nose: Layers of baked blackberry with cream, brown sugar, and nutmeg open up into aromas of leather, and cigar box to build a complex nose that continues to develop in the glass.

Palate: Dark fruit and nutmeg make an appearance along with vibrant cognac, but eventually give way to caramel and aged oak, showing the strong character of the aged bourbons in the blend.

Finish: Similar to the palate, the finish begins with a burst of rich port wine sweetness which transitions into seasoned oak and worn leather.

About: 15 STARS Triple Cask Bourbon is a marriage of two Kentucky straight bourbons aged 16 & 8 years. This blend of mature bourbons was finished in port, cognac, and rum casks for 8 months to extract the unique influences of each of these spirits. Each finishing barrel provides a distinctly different dimension that when blended together creates a complex and interesting whiskey that is one of a kind.

The Story: 

15 STARS celebrates Kentucky history. In 1795, Kentucky was recognized as the 15th US state on the historic 15 star and 15 stripe US flag, the second flag of the nation. At that time Kentucky was emerging as a hub for high quality craftsmen and artisans in trades such as gunsmithing, furniture making, silversmithing, distilling, and more. 15 STARS Bourbon approaches their work the same way as these early Kentucky artisans, by pouring their effort into the creation of a great product that will stand the test of time.

AMASS Vodka with Marigold, Chamomile, and Lemon celebrates Nordic distilling tradition and the rich, vibrant history of Scandinavian drinking culture. Inspired by the region's long-standing spirit tradition, Master Distiller Morgan McLachlan worked with craft distillers in Copenhagen to develop the liquid before moving production to Central California.

There, the process begins with our botanicals, which are meticulously distilled to create a heart with subtle layers of flowers folded around fresh, hand-grated citrus. The result is a glycerin-free spirit that uses marigold petals in place of additives to create an elegant spirit with a smooth mouthfeel, suited for a variety of cocktails and seasons.

15 STARS First West Rye celebrates the history of distilling excellence in America’s First West. In 1795, the 15 star flag recognized Kentucky as the 15th US state and the first state West of the Appalachians. At the time, Kentucky was surrounded by two US territories, making up the region commonly known as America’s First West. The three straight rye whiskeys used to create this blend were aged 8, 7, and 6 years and distilled in KY, IN, and TN as a tribute to the First West.

Nose: Sweet fruit aromas of ripe pear, golden raisin, orange peel, and honey emerge boldly, balanced by a spice blend including cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate: The candied fruit notes from the nose remain and are joined by herbal spice and almond to form a round and full palate.

Finish: The sip comes to an end with pleasant flavors of kumquat, almond, and lasting toasted oak

It lures you in with a beautiful aroma of toasted malt and warm baking spices. On the pallet, Heigold opens with silky butterscotch and hints of bright citrus finishing with a thrilling crescendo of pepper spice. While great neat or on the rocks, a high proof of 95 allows Heigold’s bold flavors to shine in any cocktail.

Toasted & Charred Barrels: Developing our super-premium whiskey takes time. We slowly toast our barrels over a wood-fired flame before charring, a process that takes up to 20 minutes per barrel. Toasting coaxes sugars from deep in the fibers of the wood which mingle with the distillate during the aging process, giving our whiskeys unparalleled complexity and flavor.

Strong and Bold. The uniqueness of this Bourbon starts with mash consisting of corn, malted German rye, and malted barley. Once distilled, we proof the new make down to 110 before barreling. This produces a rich, decadent bourbon void of harsh flavors or burn. We mature the distillate for 4 years in toasted and charred American White Oak barrels crafted by Kelvin Cooperage. The process of toasting before charring is a modern approach to barrel making, allowing deeper whiskey absorption into the barrel which gives this bourbon its deep flavor and caramel color.

Made with a high percentage of imported German rye. Named after a German immigrant stonecutter from the 1800s, Rabbit Hole Heigold Bourbon is inspired by the adventures, innovators, and creators who built the foundation of the country we love. We start with a unique mash bill of corn, malted German rye, and malted barley to give this bourbon a base of southern sweetness layered with light notes of white pepper. It is then barreled in charred American White Oak and mellowed in the sweltering summers and frigid winters of Kentucky for over 4 years. Infusing flavors of butterscotch and baking spices, our selective aging process allows for Heigold to mature into a deep caramel hue - a signature of our brand. In the pursuit of intense and original flavors, our team set out to create a new generation of heirloom corn. The early growing years were curated by our team, with only the finest kernels selected for eventual growth in the fields. Years later, that corn – proprietary to Widow Jane - was harvested, driven to Red Hook and mashed, fermented & distilled, and placed into new, charred American oak barrels. The wait was a test of endurance, but the payoff? Exquisite. Because when you start with the finest raw materials, the result is extraordinary bourbon.

Baby Jane is a bourbon whiskey made from our own unique heirloom corn, “Baby Jane." This unique corn has depth, sweetness and creamy-spiciness that makes Baby Jane Bourbon truly different. Distilled by Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn and in Kentucky. True small batch bourbon; hand-assembled in Brooklyn, blended only a few barrels at a time. Non-chill filtered and proofed with our own mineral water from the legendary Rosendale mines of New York.
